Abigail bites
The strong winds of storm Abigail hit the course last week taking most of the leaves off the trees. This week has not started any better as the course continues to be hit by strong winds. The greens staff has been out blowing and vacuuming the leaves this week in an effort to stay on top.
On Course
Contractors have been in the last week putting holes and slits to aerate the fairways. Winter Rules are in place so you do not have to play out of the aeration holes.
Also on the course this week the watering system was drained and shut down for winter.
Sally's "Drive Off"

Entry fees of £1 went to Sally's Charity the Alzheimers Society.
Total yardage was 494, and the winner of the competition was Dawn Mallard Parker with a guess of 493 The Final fling competition was won on count back.
