Congratulations to Matthew Myers who defeated Danny Roberts in the final of the Bostock Trophy on Sunday. Matthew was one up after the morning 18 holes and closed the match out 3&2. The match was played to a high standard.

Vets Team Championship

Gillian Curley and Karen Lobb were part of the Northamptonshire team who won the Vets Team Championship at Beau Desert Golf Club earlier this week. 

With three gross scores out of the four scores to count, Northamptonshire led by one after day one and then won with a score of 485, three shots ahead of Staffordshire after 36 holes. 

Karen also won the best nett for 36 holes.

This week's work will see the Greenstaff Vertidrain winter tees, Divot tees, collect leaves, chipper the course Thursday and begin to flail hedges on practice ground Friday.

It was mentioned in last week's weekly connect but can we please ask all members to return any baskets they may have in the boot of their car or at home. We are significantly down on numbers and this means members have to fetch baskets from the range to fill them up, which is an inconvenience for all involved.
