Scratch League Champions 

Congratulations to our Scratch team who won their "winner takes all" match at home to Peterborough Milton on Saturday 6-2 and retained the Scratch League title. Well done to Harry Larkins and all those that played for the team, it was a real squad effort.

This now also means that the club hold both the Men's and Ladies' Scratch League titles!


2015 NGU Champions of Champions 

Well done to Club Champion Paul Godding who played in the Champion of Champions on Sunday at Wellingborough; shooting 1 under par he finished second behind Lewis White of Northampton but one ahead of Jamie Milligan from Wellingborough, two ahead of Ben Jones from Brampton Heath and three ahead of Taylor Sargeant from Olverston Park.

Junior News

The club was well represented in the recent NLCGA Junior Girls Autumn Cup with Katie Amos, Millie & Hattie Billson all playing. The scoring was high with the winner scoring 46 stableford points! Hattie finished 6th with 35 points, Millie 9th and Katie 10th both with 33 points.


 

The Auchterlonie Putter and Family Fun Day

The Auchterlonie Putter and Family Fun Day is to be held on Sunday 1st November, contact Mark for more details. 

Clubhouse News 
 
As the nights are now closing in so please be aware that the clubhouse and catering times have changed to the following; 

Catering - Available in the Clubhouse at the following times:

Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 6:30pm
Saturday - 10:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday - 10:00am to 4:30pm

Meals can be ordered at the Bar and will be served at the table in the Verandah, the Lounge or in the Dining Room. Special times apply for Club and other functions. 

Bar - Opening times:

Monday to Saturday - 10:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday - 10:00am to 6:00pm

N.B. The Clubhouse will be locked 30mins after the bar closes. 


 

On the Course 

With the weather changing this week the greens staff fertilised the greens on Monday, will begin raking out fairways, cutting hedges, applying fungicide when weather permits and cutting out winter paths for the 5th and 13th. 

It is with sad news that we report Jonathan's (the Forrester) beloved dog and companion passed away recently. I'm sure all of us will recall how the two were never far apart with Sam watching over Jonathan's handy work.

Following Finals Day Autumn will have well and truely arrived and the following week as clocks change the leaves begin to fall. As with the Clubhouse the Pro Shop opening times will change with the day light hours.
