8th Tee/Green
A new red light has arrived at the 8th tee. It will shine bright when players are on the green to help the longer hitters know when the green is clear.
There are hidden sensors by the green that will pick up players while they are putting and show a red light at the tee.
On Course
The greens staff has been out devoting and trimming around the sprinkler heads this week.

Cecil Leitch
The Cecil Leitch team played a match against Kettering Golf Club on the 28th May. This was our first Away match, and the team of Penny Letten, Diana Murkin, Kate James, Vanessa Barrow, Pam Oliver, Kerry Spooner and Jane Shearer sadly lost 5 games to 2 to the Home Club.
Most of the matches were very close and one of our winning games went to the 20th hole. The team will be seeking their revenge when they play Kettering at our course on the 12th June.
This year the club has two teams in the NGU Junior League. The B Team played their 1st match at the weekend away to Northampton. The team won each match comfortably and a quick mention to Oliver Botterill who made his debut and held his nerve to win his match 1 up.
The B team have the 2nd match of the summer this Sunday 14th June, at home to Collingtree.
