Congratulations to the Hollingsworth teams who both picked up big wins on Sunday. The one side battled hard away at Stoke Albany winning 3-2 to make it 3 wins out of 3 before the important final group game versus Whittlebury this Sunday. A win would guarantee a spot in the next round.
Meanwhile the other team beat neigbours Brampton Heath 4-1 to build on their win last week at Overstone. The win takes the team level on points with Brampton just behind Northampton GC going into the final game away at Oundle.
The nine hole juniors showed they have spent their winters well with some excellent scoring. James, Hannah and Natasha all received handicap reductions for their excellent scoring and all are moving well towards 18 hole membership in due course.
