Blossom has appeared on the course this week and in the clubs green house.

The men’s team were away to Collingtree on Sunday for Round 2 for The Daily Mail on Sunday. Unfortunately, that is a far as the team will go this year as they lost 4 – 1. The Ladies team were close to home in their first round away match at Northampton GC . The home side( Northampton ) came out on top winning the last match for a 3-2 victory.
Winter Pro Am 2014
This year’s winter ProAm had 25 teams tee off in a shot gun start at 12 high noon. A healthy breakfast was served before the teams of 4 teed off in the best 2 from 4 medal format. 2 Holes in one where achieved at 3rd and 15th holes making 2 players day. Lots of positive comments on the day came from visitors’ on how well the course played and the improvements being made. Word of mouth will now hopefully spread the news around the county. The leading team at 17 under came from Kingsthorpe . The Sponsors Team lead by Adam partnered by Chris Winters, Simon Blundell & Sam Henfery came in Second at 16 under. The Best Pros score 68 A big thank you to this year’s Pro Am sponsor Cotters insurance

Tim has been to Spain with National club Golfer to shoot instructional magazine articles. While there they took the opportunity to shoot some short videos, the first of which arrived on YouTube this week.

On the course The sleepers at the 15th had the finishing touches added this week allowing the lateral water hazard to be reinstated. There is now a drop zone for the newly turfed area only.
The heavy construction work at the 12th finished this week allowing the green staff to start preparing the new area for returfing.
