Winter league

Frost and rain lead to temporary greens on Saturday and snow throughout Sunday closed the course for Winter League 7.

The scoring was good despite the difficult conditions on Saturday. Congratulations to WWL7 winners:-

Conquer the fat wedge shot

Those of you who are brave enough to face the elements and get out on the course over the winter will know that it’s very easy to hit the odd fat shot, especially with your wedges when trying to be more delicate around the greens. This can be incredibly frustrating, but luckily we’re here to help…

We’re not just talking about if it’s a PW or LW, but are your wedges suited to your technique and the turf conditions you face?
