Getting the bunkers back into play after deluge on Friday is the priority this week for the greens staff. They will also be applying a light Top dressing to the greens.

The reeds in the river are due to be trimmed so please attract the staff before playing as they may not hear due to head wear. Tates an outside contractor will be on site in the car park. As many of you will have seen when it rains drainage around the club house is a problem. Please give way to them on your way in and out.

CECIL LEITCH MATCH - RUSHDEN - AWAY.

The Cecil Leitch Team consisting of - Penny Letten, Alison Shine, Diana Murkin, Jane Shearer, Diane Saunderson, Geeta Patel and Dawn Mallard-Parker played Away, at Rushden Golf Club.

They had an excellent 5 - 2 Win over the Rushden ladies.

This is a new course and is now 18 holes and although it needs to mature the girls found it very interesting.

We have played all the matches in our Section and now wait to see whether we have done well enough to get into the Semi-Final.
