Captain's Corner Challenge was on holes 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th where a bottle of wine was on offer for any player who achieved 10 stableford points or more. There were only 3 winners

Cecil Leitch teamThe ladies Cecil Leitch team suffered a narrow loss away to Priors Hall 4-3. They still have a chance of qualifying for the semi-final in their final game away from home against Kingsthorpe on Friday, 23 June. Good luck ladies.
NGL Championship at Wellingborough GC
On Saturday it was Northamptonshire's County Championship, 36 holes at Wellingborough. The club had 13 members playing with 3 making up the podium.
Charlie Salter shot the only sub-par round of the day to come from four behind to win by 3 over defending champion
Matthew Myers and
Fergus Robinson. The trio also qualified for the Champion Club where they will represent the club in the National Finals later in the year.
Ben Jones,
Thomas Bullough,
Danny Roberts and
Liam McNeela also finished in the top ten making it an excellent day for the golf club.
Ben Smith won the Parsons Cup which is the prize for the lowest nett aggregate on the day.
Steph Gooding and
Jane Shearer (both Northants County) won the Ladies NGL Fourball Betterball Championship on countback after posting 39 points at Northampton GC.
Wellingborough's
Miriam Johnson and
Gill Snelson were runners-up ahead of club-mates
Mary MacLaren and
Rebecca MacLaren, who claimed the gross prize.
