Fergus Robinson has been away playing the Welsh Open Youths and with opening rounds of 2 under par and level par he was in a good position heading in to the final round. Unfortunately it was not to be, but nonetheless was happy with his handicap reduction.
Ben Jones was away last week competing in the German Boys Amateur Championship as part of the England Boys team.
In his opening round
Ben shot 1 over par 73 before bouncing back on the second day with a 3 under 69, before the last day was washed out due to bad weather.
On behalf of the club, well done with
Ben with your most recent call up.

Ladies OpenIt was a very busy day at the club for the Ladies Open. Swing out sister filled the main part of the shop with Ladies clothing for the day as Ladies came from far and wide. Sad to report there were no home players in the prizes.

There were some great matches despite the weather, and I am sure you would all like to congratulate our team on a terrific win! Only two more matches to go now, and the results are very close so we have everything to play for!
With very best wishes from your very happy Team Captain,
