Cecil Leitch

I'm sorry to say that the ladies Cecil Leitch match v Daventry away was a loss. All of our team played extremely well on a very tough and hilly course. Our final score was 5 - 2 with some very close matches but Daventry have won all three of their home matches this year, so we were in good company! We will hopefully get our own back when we play them on our course in June.

On The Course This Week

The forecast looks like a mixed bag for this week, we've had the pleasure of 10 straight dry days prior to the Spring Meeting so I guess it was going to catch up with us sometime.

Monday - pencil tine greens. It has been a long while since we last aerated the greens and with the dry weather the surfaces are in need of opening up. Also scarifying greens, there are plenty of seed heads now.

- Prepare and seed the GUR areas. 
- Finish topdressing fairways.

What a difference a day makes! Wednesday saw heavy rain throughout the day before clearing ready for the Men's Stableford on Thursday.
