Seniors 

The Seniors have got off to a splendid start this season. Two matches and two victories. First up were Kettering in a home match, the result being 5.5 to 2.5. Then a visit to Luffenham for this season's first leg of the Brampton Ram saw a marvellous performance winning 6 matches to 2. The seniors have since held their Spring away day at Hollywood golf club in Birmingham.30 members enjoyed a day with an am am format seeing the team of Andy Cox, Chris Dowell and Ted Barnes prevail.

Congratulations to Sue McRae and Ursula Morris on their third round win against Delapre Golf Club on Saturday.


 

On The Course

Last week the STRI agronomists where here at the club for one of their course inspections. The overall view was they were delighted with the progress the course is making. The review of the work done this winter on the course is that where the trees have been removed it is already improving the greens. Overall the course is on track to the plan they produced.
