Thank you to Steve Smith who organised this year's winter leagues.
Saturday Medal
13 year old Max Faulkner shot a super level par round of 70 in the Weekend Medal. This minus his impressive 5 handicap was enough to win the competition with a nett 65 pipping Antony Elderton with a better back 9.
Martin Sharman won Division 2 with a 68 ahead of Bill Smith who both scored 70s. John Draper pushed Arvind Kacchia into 2nd placed in division three winning with a score of 71 again with a better back 9.
Thursday Medal
Richard Lobb strolled to victory in the last Thursday medal before the change to the winter course with an incredible nett 65 in very blustery conditions.
Laurie Johnson must have thought he had secured victory leading for most of the day with a nett 68 until Richard came in in the penultimate group.
This 68 was enough to clinch Division 2 with William Knibbs taking Divison 3 with a nett 70.
On Monday,
