Modernising Golf's Rules
Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
Please spare a couple of minutes to complete our survey, which gives you the chance to have your say on the proposed changes.
We've picked out some of the most significant Rules changes for you to digest in this survey, before giving you the chance to say whether you agree or disagree with each of them. It'll be great to know your thoughts.

Grand Opening
Last Friday, 3 March the studio was officially opened by the Club Captain and the mayor of Northampton. The mayor's guide dog met one of the puppies in training sponsored by the clubs Charity ProAm.
European Tour player and past junior member of the club Gary Boyd showed the gallery how it should be done before having a go at the nearest the pin.
Then on Saturday the 2 bays of the studio where open from 10am to 4pm for members to try the equipment and have a go at the nearest the pin competition on the simulator.
Corey Neville took home the prize after hitting it to 2.19ft, winning a dozen TP5x balls from TaylorMade.
There was a great turnout and we would like to thank everyone who came along and enjoyed the day.

Golf Ball Fitting
Many golfers underestimate the importance of playing the correct golf ball; after all it is the only piece of equipment you use on every single shot! Now is the time of the year to find out which golf ball is best for your game.
With this in mind we have TaylorMade & Callaway joining us in this month's fitting promotion.
We suggest you find the right ball and play a few rounds with it before the start of competition season.
