The Christmas competitions get underway...

On Saturday the Gents played their Christmas Greensomes, with the formidable pairing of the Goodman's scoring the best on the day with 48 points.

On Tuesday the Ladies had their Christmas competition with a 2 tee start playing 9 holes.

Paul Broadhurst

Our Senior Open Champion Paul Broadhurst was awarded the John Jacobs Trophy on Sunday. Paul only joined the tour August 2015 topped the European Senior Tour Order of Merit in his first full season. 

Paul finished his season with a second place - 14 in the MCB Tour Championship at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius on Sunday 1 shot behind the winner Barry Lane. 

Paul said: "It was an important week for me to finish the season on a high. I didn't want to finish 40th and chop my way around the course only to then accept the trophy."


 

This week:

- Finish preparing bunker bases. 
- Add bunker sand to lined bunkers to protect sumps. 
- Spread heather seed on 12th. 
- Finish fencing on range. 
- Start felling on 13th and 15th.
