The Seniors have been busy recently playing 3 matches in 5 days!
Ashridge Away Aug 18th - Won 4-2
Unfortunately due to admin misunderstanding we were one player short so Nic Godden found himself playing alone but somehow with the two Ashridge guys they concocted a game between them and Nic came out on top by 2 and 1, all the other games were close with us just tipping the scales in our favour. Course as you would imagine in first class condition, food and ambience also excellent.
Northampton GC Home Aug 19th - Won 4-3
Another close game, Match Captain Ray Kingston came unstuck with partner David Adams losing 5/4, not usual for Ray!! Greg Savage answered a late withdrawal being in Bedford at 10.00am when he got the call......on the tee ready to play at 11.10am and with partner David Whalley went on to win 1 up....one we owe you Greg!!
Tadmarton Heath GC Home Monday Aug 22nd - Won 7.5 to 0.5
A resounding win not losing a game, so David Alston our Match Day Captain was a very happy guy, the opposition Captain Vic Lee was stumped for words but never the less did say how much they enjoyed there day with us and very appreciative of our hosting and the excellent dinner.
English Boys County Finals
Northamptonshire came up just short in their bid to win a historic first English Boys County title as they finished third at Cumberwell Park. Northamptonshire County was represented well with Ben Jones, Fergus Robinson, Charlie Salter and away member Luke Barney all playing.

We could do with the summer holidays being over soon. This is the second consecutive day of bike skid marks on the greens.
Thankfully they will grow out, let's hope this is the worst we get.
