Juniors
On Sunday, 21 February, we started our 2016 series of nine hole competitions with four players - originally six but two had to pull out at the last minute. It was half term after all...
Harrison Taylor had an excellent score of 22 for 9 holes so his handicap is reduced to 38. The treacherous wind affected the scoring of the other three players who all enjoyed the experience. Thank you to Margo Gooch, Pauline Taylor and Alison Gent who went round with the players. Jackson Harris and Josh Beal have now progressed to playing 18 holes with handicaps of 28. Well done Jackson and Josh.
The next competition will be held on Sunday, 20 March and there is to be a Junior Evening at the Club at 6.00 pm on Thursday 03 March for all those who are interested in junior golf to get together for a presentation regarding the new structure for junior golf at our club. Anyone interested from player, parent, grandparent, uncle/aunt etc is welcome and your views will be welcomed.
