2 big events for this year open to members and guests are coming up fast. Why not bring your friends or tell your friends at other clubs about two great days to take part in and show off our club. First is the Super Am Am at just £50 per player for Bacon Bap ,golf ,meal after play and great prizes it is a low cost day out when you think the green fee is £70 on its own for 18 holes here at Northants County.
Secondly the Clubs charity Pro Am in July. Its a first come first pick on tee time so enter early to reserve the tee time that fits with you and your guests.
The two days help keep the profile of the club, show off our facilities that often attract new members as well as bring in revenue for Bar and catering.

Watching the Masters on Sunday made me think the 16th green at NCGC is not that extreme when compared to the putting skills needed at Augusta. Big greens need good lag putting to make sure your 2nd putt in the gimme distance, but as our greens quicken up – pace is also crucial for line as Augusta showed us over the weekend.
